Butter Paneer Masala



Ingredients:

Paneer: 250 grams, single cube.

Refined oil: for frying paneer.

Fresh cream: 200 ml

Green Chilly: 3-4 Nos.

Garlic: 4-5 no

Ginger: 1 inch

Tomato: 4-5 no

Butter: 3-4 tbsp

Red chilly powder: ½ Tbsp

Coriander powder: ½ Tbsp

Cumin powder: ½ tsp

Dried  Fenugreek leaves: 2 tsp

Preparation:

Cut the Paneer into pieces of 1 inch x 1 inch x 0.5 centimeter.

Cut the chilly into fine pieces.

Shake well the fresh cream into its pack and cut it and keep ready.

Cut the tomato into small pieces and grind well in mixer along with ginger and garlic. This is tomato puree with ingredients.


Process:

Take a deep frying pan, add refined oil into it and heat it. Fry paneer pieces into it till it becomes yellowish brown. Once paneer pieces are fried well take them out on tissue paper to absorb excess oil (or you can simply keep it in some bowl).

Heat butter in the same frying pan. Once heated properly keep the flame at medium.

Add chopped chilly into it and fry for1/2 minute

Add Dried Fenugreek leaves and again stir for 1 minute

Add tomato puree into it.

Add chilly, cumin and coriander powder into it. Put the flame on max. Cook for 3 minutes around at full heat and then turn the flame to medium again. Add salt and put the lid on and cook for further 6-7 minutes.

Add fresh cream into the broth, mix well and cook for further 5 minutes at medium-high flame with lid on. Keep stirring in between.

Now add the fried paneer pieces into this broth, mix well and cook for further 5 minutes or till you get the consistency right.
